See below differences between the iPhone 3G and an iPod Touch, please note this is not a detailed analysis:
All other function are the same, i.e. email, webbrowser, Music Player, Video Player. So the iPhone has more functions but you pay almost double the price and you have to sign a 2 years contract. Is it worth the difference? Well if you need email and internet always, immediately probably. If you can wait until you reach the next WiFi Hotspot you should consider the iPod Touch. Tomorrow I'll write about an Application that will make the distance between 2 Hotspots look much shorter, because you can look at some websites without being online.
